Refurbishing work around the Sanctuary area of OLMC church is in progress.
Due to this, the 12:10 pm weekday masses (Mon. 4/14, Tues. 4/15 & Wed. 4/16)
at OLMC will be transferred and celebrated at SJE Church.

Lenten Sacrifice Envelopes can be found at the entrances of the churches. Envelopes will be collected throughout Lent. This will give all members of the Parish the opportunity to offer their sacrifices for this cause, be it from going to the movies, giving up chocolates, sacrificing dinning out, or sharing part of your everyday meals.

Easter Novena of Masses Envelopes
April 20th is Easter Sunday. Honor your loved ones, whether they are with us or have returned to the Lord, by including their names in our Novena of Masses envelopes, where they will be remembered in prayer.
Envelopes can be found on the bulletin tables at both churches.
Envelopes will be collected until Palm Sunday. You can place them in the offertory collection basket.
On Saturday, April 12th, between 10 am and 11:30 am, the Care of Creation Team is inviting you to join them in a clean-up day at the St. John the Evangelist Garden. All are welcome. This is a great Opportunity for Confirmation service hours. For more information, please contact Sister Maco.

ANOINTING AND BLESSING OF THE SICK

Anointing & Blessing of the sick takes place on the 3rd Saturday
of each Month at the both churches, directly following these Masses:4:00 pm Mass OLMC & 5:30 pm Mass SJE
There will be Anointing of the Sick by the presiding priest. By the sacred Anointing of the Sick and the prayer of the priests the whole Church commends those who are ill to the suffering and glorified Lord, that He may raise them up and save them. And, indeed, He exhorts them to contribute to the good of the People of God by freely uniting themselves to the Passion and death of Christ.

Después de la Misa de las 4:00 pm (OLMC) & 5:30 pm (SJE)el tercer sábado de cada mes en la Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Monte Carmelo Y de San Juan El Evangelista, habrá unción de los enfermos por parte del sacerdote que celebre la Misa.
Por la sagrada Unción de los enfermos y la oración de los sacerdotes, toda la Iglesia encomienda a los enfermos al Señor sufriente y glorificado, para que los resucite y los salve. Y, en efecto, los exhorta a contribuir al bien del Pueblo de Dios uniéndose libremente a la Pasión y muerte de Cristo.
